    Since Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre was not available for recitals 1- 4 they were relocated:
    St. Barnabas’s Church, Waterloo Road, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 2N


  • We’re sure that everyone is enjoying attending live music events again. St. Barnabas’s Church is large, well-ventilated with a good acoustic and so offers a covid-safe performance space. While no longer legally mandated, like the government’s health advisors, we suggest that you follow the established safety rules, giving confidence to those who might be anxious.

Blackweir Brass presents an evening of folk inspired compositions, from Malcolm Arnold’s Brass Quintet to Beethoven’s “Welsh Songs”. The quintet aims to take you on a journey through the depths of the Welsh countryside in Morfydd Owen’s “4 Welsh Impressions” and Haldon Evans’ “Noson Lawen”, to the glorious sunshine of South America in Enrique Crespo’s Suite Americana. It’s sure to be a fantastic evening which we hope you can join us on this musical adventure.
